Meteoritos, Corredeira, Banquisa, Asfalto, Cantaria, Andaime, and Contenção · Last updated: September 4, 2026
This document explains, in plain language, what data the BROTTO ARCADE games — Meteoritos, Corredeira, Banquisa, Asfalto, Cantaria, Andaime, and Contenção — collect, why it collects it, and what you can do about it. It applies to the game published at arcade.brotto.tech and to the versions distributed through game portals and app stores.
The person responsible for this data is Alexandre Brotto (brotto.io). Contact: brotto.alexandre@gmail.com.
1. The principle
You never need to sign up or provide a name, email address, or any other data that identifies you — none of that is a condition for playing. What does exist is an automatic anonymous account, created by the game on its own the first time you play (explained in detail in section 3): it is just a random code, with no personal data, and it exists to save your progress and enable a shared leaderboard in games that offer one.
2. What stays only on your device
This data never leaves your browser. It lives in local storage, is never sent to any server, and disappears if you clear the site's data:
- Your settings: sound, video filter, control scheme, art style, gamepad mapping.
Your progress — high score, furthest point reached (wave, sector, or stage, depending on the game), coins, unlocked ships, and unlocked powers — is different: from your very first run, it is also saved to the automatic account described in section 3, in the same database that holds the leaderboard. That is what lets you recover your progress on another device, once you link your account to Google (section 4) — without it, every new device would start from zero.
3. What is sent to the server
To save your progress and enable a leaderboard where available, the game creates an automatic anonymous account the first time you play. It does not ask for and does not contain a name, an email address, or anything that identifies you — it is just a random code.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Anonymous identifier (random code) | Tell one player apart from another on the leaderboard |
| Auto-generated nickname (e.g. Piloto-4f2a91c3) | Appear on the leaderboard without revealing identity |
| Score, point reached in the run (wave, sector, or stage, depending on the game), game mode, and run duration | Build the leaderboard and reject implausible scores |
| Submission date and time | Daily leaderboard and per-player rate limiting |
| A few technical details about how the page loaded the first time you played (for example: whether your browser offers a cross-tab coordination mechanism and whether it was used when creating your account, whether the page was embedded in another window, whether the tab was in the foreground or background, and the exact time) | If duplicate accounts show up again, help investigate what caused it — and help make sure your progress isn't lost. Does not identify you or your device |
| High score, furthest point reached, coins, unlocked ships, selected ship, unlocked permanent powers, and which one is currently equipped (each game stores only what exists in it — Banquisa, Asfalto, Cantaria, and Andaime, for instance, have no coins and no shop) | Sync your progress across devices |
Contenção: the first campaign sector uses the same anonymous Arcade account, with optional Google linking and progress synchronization (missions, checkpoint, upgrades, and best completion time). This campaign has no public leaderboard; this progress remains linked to your account and is not published in a ranking.
This data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Brazil (São Paulo region) and used exclusively by this game.
4. Google account (optional)
If you choose to link your Google account, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. This serves one purpose only: letting you recover your progress on another device or after clearing your browser.
Linking is optional. There is currently no button to unlink while keeping your progress — what you can do at any time is request account deletion (section 9), which also erases your progress and your leaderboard scores. If you do not link, the game works exactly the same.
5. Promotional messages
If at some point you tick the box accepting news and updates, we will use your email for that. This permission is separate from the account, unticked by default, and declining it does not block anything in the game. You can opt out at any time, through the link in any message or by writing to the contact above.
6. Ads and purchases
This depends on where you play:
- arcade.brotto.tech and the desktop version: no ads and no third-party SDKs.
- Game portals (Poki, CrazyGames): ads are served by the portal itself, under its own privacy policy. The portal may use its own cookies and identifiers, outside our control.
- Mobile app: ads through Google AdMob and purchases through RevenueCat, each under its own policy.
Watching an ad is always optional and unlocks in-game benefits.
7. What we do NOT do
- We do not use third-party analytics tools in the game.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
- We do not ask for a phone number, address, ID document, or payment details.
- We do not track you across other websites.
8. How long we keep it
Scores are kept for as long as the leaderboard exists. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists. If you request deletion, we delete the account and the scores linked to it.
9. Your rights
You may request, at any time, to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, take it in a machine-readable format, or withdraw any permission you previously gave. Just write to brotto.alexandre@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
To erase only what is stored on your device, clearing the site's data in your browser is faster.
10. Children
No game in the arcade is directed to children. The automatic anonymous account described in section 3 contains no personal data — existing for every player, including children, does not expose anyone's identity. Linking the account to Google (section 4) and signing up for news (section 5), which involve an email address, name, and photo, are intended for people aged 18 or older. If we learn that either of these was done with a child's data without the permission of the person responsible for them, we delete it as soon as we identify it — if this is your case, please write to the contact above.
11. Changes to this policy
If anything changes materially, we update the date at the top of this page. Changes that broaden data collection only take effect after you give permission again.
